This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains how IndeKnow, Inc., a Florida corporation (“IndeKnow,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares consumer health data through the IndeKnow mobile application (the “App”). It is written to meet Washington’s My Health My Data Act and similar laws in Nevada, Connecticut, and other states, and it supplements our Privacy Policy.

IndeKnow provides educational self-help content, not therapy or medical care. Still, some information you add to the App can reveal something about your mental or emotional wellbeing, so we treat it as consumer health data and apply this policy to every user, wherever you live.

1. Consumer health data we collect

We do not collect diagnoses, medical records, precise location, or biometric data, and we do not receive health information from health care providers.

2. Where it comes from

We collect this data only from you, when you use the App. We do not buy it or obtain it from anyone else.

3. How we use it

We do not use consumer health data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to build profiles for anyone else.

4. Your consent

We save consumer health data to your account only if you agree on a separate consent screen in the App. That consent is not part of our Terms, and agreeing to our Terms does not give it. If you choose to keep your data on your device only, the App still works, and the data stays on your phone and is not sent to us. If you use the App without an account, the data stays on your device until you sign in and agree.

You can withdraw consent at any time in the App (Menu > Settings > Health data sync). After you withdraw, we stop collecting new consumer health data, and you can choose to delete what is already saved to your account at the same time. We keep a record of your consent choices (whether you agreed, declined, or withdrew, which version, and when) for as long as your account is active.

5. Who we share it with

We do not share consumer health data with third parties or affiliates, and we have no affiliates. We use a website hosting provider that stores this data on our behalf, under a contract that limits its use to providing services to us. We may disclose consumer health data if required by law, such as in response to valid legal process. RevenueCat, Apple, Google, SureCart, and Stripe, which handle subscriptions, do not receive your consumer health data.

6. Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you can:

To make a request, email info@indeknow.com from the address on your account with the subject “Consumer Health Data Request.” We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. Where the law allows, an authorized agent may make a request for you. We respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we may extend this by up to 45 more days and will tell you why. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

7. Appeals

If we decline your request, you can appeal by emailing info@indeknow.com with the subject “Consumer Health Data Appeal.” We will respond in writing within 45 days and explain our decision. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general: Washington (atg.wa.gov), Nevada (ag.nv.gov), or Connecticut (portal.ct.gov/ag).

8. Location and geofencing

We do not collect your location and do not use geofences around health care facilities or any other place.

9. How long we keep it and how we protect it

We keep consumer health data for as long as your account is active and you have not withdrawn consent and deleted it. Deleting your account deletes it. We use encryption in transit and access controls to protect it, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make a material change to how we collect, use, or share consumer health data, we will update the date above, notify you in the App or by email, and ask for your consent again before the change applies to you.
